The Portland Fire beat Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever at the Moda Center May 30, besting the visiting team 100-84.
>This was the second meeting between the two teams. A Clark-less Fever beat the Fire in Indiana on May 20 90-73. It's also the second consecutive loss on the road for Indiana.
>The Fire's victory came after a brutal loss to the Atlanta Dream on May 29.
>But against the Fever, power forward Megan Gustafson and guard Carla Leite led the charge with a combined 40 points to grab the win for Portland. Small forward Emily Engstler scored 16 and guard Sarah Ashlee Barker sank another 15.
