Portland Thorns ‘actively’ pursuing contract extension for USWNT forward Sophia Wilson, CANWNT captain Jessie Fleming, and U-23 forward Pietra Tordin

In the midseason update for the Portland Thorns, there were several key updates.

>The major update revolves USWNT megastar Sophia Wilson, CANWNT captain Jessie Fleming, and U-23 forward Pietra Tordin.

>“The Thorns are actively pursuing a contract extension for Sophia Wilson, as well as midfielder Jessie Fleming and forward Pietra Tordin (who holds a 2027 player option). All three will be listed on the NWSL’s free agency list until a decision is finalized and announced.”
