>French Montana is offering to help a New York City taxi driver whose cab was damaged during the celebrations that followed the Knicks' first NBA championship in 53 years.
>A viral video circulating on social media showed a crowd of fans climbing onto and damaging a taxi as celebrations erupted across the city after the Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.
>The footage eventually caught the attention of the Bronx-born rapper, who offered to help the driver.

Taxi Workers Alliance Offers to Connect HimIt didn't take long for someone to respond.
>The New York Taxi Workers Alliance replied to Montana's post, saying the driver is one of its members and offering to help connect the two.
>"He's a member of our union. We'd love to connect you," the organization wrote.
>The incident occurred during the citywide celebration following the Knicks' 94-90 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The win gave New York its first NBA championship since 1973 and sparked massive celebrations throughout the city.
>French Montana has been one of the team's most visible celebrity supporters throughout the playoff run. He was among several New York artists celebrating the championship, alongside Cardi B, Fat Joe, Alicia Keys, and Jennifer Lopez.
>Whether Montana ultimately connects with the driver remains to be seen, but thanks to a viral video and a social media post, the cab driver may soon get some help recovering from a night that left his vehicle caught in the middle of the celebration.
