class="wp-block-paragraph">La Liga giants Real Madrid are closing on a €6 million boost on the financial front.

class="wp-block-paragraph">This comes with a deal close to being finalised between Los Blancos and Dutch powerhouse Ajax, for the transfer of Dani Ceballos to the latter.

class="wp-block-paragraph">It has of course long been common knowledge that midfielder Ceballos is primed to see his stint at the Santiago Bernabéu brought to a definitive end this summer.

class="wp-block-paragraph">With the former Arsenal man no longer in the plans of those in a position of power at Real Madrid, all that remained to be seen was exactly which suitor was willing to meet the financial demands set out by Florentino Pérez and co.

class="wp-block-paragraph">And as alluded to above, this week, one such club appear to have done precisely that.

class="wp-block-paragraph">As per a report from Marca, after new manager Míchel identified Ceballos as his priority engine room target:

class="wp-block-paragraph">‘Ajax are already negotiating with Real Madrid… and the talks are progressing well. The midfielder from Utrera will leave the Madrid club for around €6 million in a deal that is very close to being finalized.’
