Real Madrid expected to send first bid for Dutchman soon; player has a €25 million release clause

class="wp-block-paragraph">This could be a significant move by Real Madrid, as the club desperately need an alternative to both Garcia and Carreras, who has had an indifferent debut season since returning to the club.

class="wp-block-paragraph">The Italian transfer expert adds that Real Madrid are aware of Dumfries’ package at Inter Milan, which should make the operation much easier.

class="wp-block-paragraph">If Real Madrid opt to pay the full release clause, they won’t even have to negotiate with an Inter Milan side, which will be determined to keep hold of their defenders this summer.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Dumfries, though, is not the only fullback Real Madrid are interested in, with the club also tracking the progress of Ivan Fresneda and Pedro Porro.
