Real Madrid president’s plan if deal for Michael Olise falls through – report
class="wp-block-paragraph">Real Madrid players have scored the most number of goals than any other European club so far, with players like Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe stealing the spotlight.
>
class="wp-block-paragraph">However, the club are facing some key hurdles this summer, including Vini Jr.’s uncertain future at Santiago Bernabeu, which has led to Los Blancosdoubling down on Michael Olise.
>
class="wp-block-paragraph">Bayern Munich, though, have no intention of parting ways with the French international, much to the disappointment of Florentino Perez, who desperately wants to make a Galactico signing this summer.
Olise the priority, but a Plan B exists
class="wp-block-paragraph">According to journalist Ramon Alvarez (h/t Defensa Central), Olise has been identified as the ideal long-term successor to Vinicius, whose contract expires in 2027 with no renewal agreement in sight despite talks dragging on since early 2025.

>
class="wp-block-paragraph">The message from within the club is clear: if the Olise deal cannot be done, Perez intends to sign one of the standout performers of the World Cup instead.
>
class="wp-block-paragraph">The club are reportedly prepared to make a significant splash regardless, with the tournament serving as a key scouting platform.
>
class="wp-block-paragraph">Real Madrid are said to be working quietly and observing how receptive certain players might be to a move, even without formal negotiations taking place.
Who could be the possible targets?
class="wp-block-paragraph">Several names performing well at the World Cup have been floated as potential alternatives to Olise.
>
class="wp-block-paragraph">One is Yan Diomande, the 19-year-old RB Leipzig winger who has been a revelation for the Ivory Coast.

>
class="wp-block-paragraph">The teenager enjoyed a sensational debut Bundesliga season, registering 12 goals and eight assists while completing more dribbles than any other player in the division, and his explosive displays at the World Cup have only enhanced his reputation.
>
class="wp-block-paragraph">Real Madrid chief scout Juni Calafat has been watching him closely, and the player himself favours a move to the Bernabeu over interest from Liverpool and PSG. Leipzig, however, would demand a fee in the region of €120 million.
>
class="wp-block-paragraph">The other name is Ayyoub Bouaddi, the 18-year-old Lille midfielder who has already been linked with Real Madrid.
>
class="wp-block-paragraph">Bouaddi caught the eye with a commanding display against Brazil, and while Lille want to keep him after qualifying for the Champions League, they are aware that his World Cup performances could prompt offers of around €80 million.
