Real Madrid willing to pay 100m euros to beat Arsenal to Bundesliga star

class="isSelectedEnd">Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Yan Diomande this summer and are set to challenge Arsenal for the signature of the Ivorian star, who has become one of the most sought-after players in European football.

class="isSelectedEnd">Diomande has enjoyed a remarkable rise since joining RB Leipzig, and the Bundesliga club have remained firm in their stance that he will stay for at least another season. Despite growing interest from several leading clubs, they have so far refused to sanction his departure.

Real Madrid increase the competition

class="isSelectedEnd">Liverpool were the first club to show strong interest in signing Diomande and made several attempts to complete a deal. However, RB Leipzig rejected their offers before the World Cup and remained determined to keep the forward.

class="isSelectedEnd">It later emerged that the player wanted to move to Paris Saint-Germain, and the French champions have held talks with RB Leipzig. However, the two clubs have not yet reached an agreement, leaving the situation unresolved while Arsenal continue to monitor developments.

class="isSelectedEnd">According to Fichajes, Arsenal have not yet made a formal approach for Diomande, but they now face even greater competition after Real Madrid entered the race for his signature.

Arsenal face a difficult battle

class="isSelectedEnd">The report adds that Real Madrid have already submitted a bid worth around 100m euros for the attacker, although RB Leipzig are demanding an even higher fee before considering a sale.

class="isSelectedEnd">The Spanish giants’ involvement has made the race for Diomande considerably more competitive, with Arsenal now facing one of Europe’s biggest clubs for the highly rated forward.
