>The Boston Red Sox have done a lot in regard to raising awareness and money for the Venezuelan earthquakes that rocked the country over the weekend.

>They have allowed players to display messages on their uniforms, panhandle outside the stadium, and speak on the crisis to the media.

>Wilyer Abreu and Willson Contreras have become the face of the movement, but on Monday night, another Venezuelan stepped into the spotlight for Boston.

>Starting pitcher Ranger Suárez is another proud countryman.

>Suárez was asked about the toll the tragedy has taken on him and his teammates.

>"It's very, very hard to be here when you want to be out there physically trying to help," Suárez said. "But at the end of the day, we are trying to do our best to support them.

>"I want to send my best wishes to my people over there in Venezuela and let them know that they are not alone."

Ranger Suarez highlighted "confidence" and "trust" within the Red Sox pitching staff that led to the 12th straight quality start for the Sox 💪
