>Last week, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported that Dylan Larkin has requested a trade from the Detroit Red Wings. With Larkin being a star center with multiple years left on his contract, there is no question that several NHL clubs would love to have him on their rosters.

>Yet, it is important to note that Larkin has a full no-trade clause. As a result, he needs to give the green light for any move to come to fruition.

>Now, Larkin’s trade list has been revealed, and it includes three teams. According to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press, Larkin would accept a trade to the Florida Panthers, Minnesota Wild, and Vegas Golden Knights.

>It’s not too hard to understand why Larkin is open to a trade to Florida. While they missed the playoffs this year, it was due to significant injury issues. The Panthers won the Stanley Cup in 2024 and 2025, so they would allow Larkin to play for a real contender. However, with the Panthers having limited cap space, they would need to get creative to fit in Larkin.

>The Wild stand out as a prime potential landing spot for Larkin. They desperately need a first-line center, and they are in their Stanley Cup window. Given this, it would not be surprising if they pushed hard to land Larkin, especially since he wants to play there.

>Wild GM Bill Guerin also clearly likes Larkin, as he had the Red Wings captain on his Team USA Olympics roster. Combined with the relationships Larkin has with Quinn Hughes, Matt Boldy and Brock Faber, Minnesota feels like the leading candidate.

>As for the Golden Knights, can we really bet against them making another blockbuster trade? They seem to always land the top available star, so it would not be surprising if they worked hard to land Larkin this season.

>That remains the case whether they win the Stanley Cup Final or not. They would need to move out money, but Larkin would make an already stacked Golden Knights team even better.
