Report – Juventus Set to Re-Sign Veteran Goalkeeper on Bosman DealVeteran goalkeeper Neto is reportedly one step away from returning to Juventus as a free agent. According to Italian journalist Giorgio Musso, the 37-year-old is expected to land in Italy tonight before undergoing medicals on Sunday morning.

>Neto wore the Juventus shirt between 2015 and 2017 before leaving the club to join Valencia. He has since featured for Barcelona, Bournemouth, Arsenal and most recently Botafogo. However, after failing to earn a new contract in Brazil, he left Rio de Janeiro last month.

>Despite his age, Neto could be a decent short-term option for Juventus, especially now that Luciano Spalletti cannot count on Kamil Grabara. The Polish goalkeeper suffered a severe anterior cruciate ligament injury on the stroke of September’s international break. Therefore, he could be out for the rest of the season.

>Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur loanee Guglielmo Vicario is likely to remain Spalletti’s first choice in goal. Yet, with Grabara facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines, the record-time Italian champions have to make up for a lack of options.
