The Board of Control for Cricket in India has moved swiftly to put a lid on mounting speculation that Sunday's ODI at Lord's against England could mark the end of Rohit Sharma's international journey, with board secretary Devajit Saikia rubbishing every such speculation.
>The chatter around Rohit's future picked up pace on Thursday during the second ODI in Cardiff, where he could only manage 26 runs off 47 balls. He'd looked equally out of sorts in the series opener at Edgbaston, falling for 11 off 21 deliveries.

BCCI debunk Rohit Sharma retirement rumoursAddressing the swirling rumours directly, Saikia told PTI that there had been absolutely no internal discussion suggesting Rohit's career would conclude at Lord's this weekend.
"There are lot of speculations going on in media about Rohit Sharma's future. I want to firmly assert that there has been no such discussion that Rohit will be playing his last match at Lord's on Sunday," Saikia told PTI.
"Rohit is a regular member of the Indian ODI team and he will continue to represent the country as long as he is in the scheme of things. In other words, Lord's ODI wont be his last match."
