With the first round of the 2026 NBA draft looming on Tuesday, the Brooklyn Nets have attempted to trade up, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

>The Nets currently have pick Nos. 6, 33 and 43 after finishing with a 20-62 record, just one year after making five selections in the first round. They have conducted workouts with several prospects in their range, though they are considering moving up the draft board.

>Brooklyn is reportedly offering its sixth overall pick and additional first-round selections to try to move up into the top four. Boasting multiple first-rounders in 2027, 2029, 2031 and 2032, the Nets could have the draft capital needed to pull off such a move.

The Brooklyn Nets have attempted to move up into the top-four range of the NBA Draft by dangling their No. 6 pick with future first-round draft picks, league sources told HoopsHype.

The Nets have brought projected lottery picks Darius Acuff Jr., Nate Ament, Mikel Brown Jr. and Kingston Flemings in for workouts, who could be potential targets. The front office could also schedule additional visits with the top prospects in town for the draft at the Barclays Center.

>Of course, such a move into the top four would likely be executed to target prospects like Keaton Wagler or Caleb Wilson. However, there hasn't been much speculation that Memphis or Chicago would be willing to move down from the third and fourth picks, respectively.

>Certainly, plenty of rumors and speculation will surface ahead of the draft involving the Nets and other teams selecting in the first round. Brooklyn appears to be a team to monitor, with plenty of draft picks and other assets at its disposal.
