>St Helens have announced that Tristan Sailor has signed a three-year contract extension with the club.

>Sailor has played in a variety of positions for the Saints, including most in the halves and at full-back.

>The Australian first joined the club in November 2024 ahead of his first season in the UK. Since then, he has featured in every competitive match that St Helens has played in, making 50 consecutive appearances, scoring 28 tries and kicking 19 goals for a tally of 150 points so far.

>On signing his new deal, Tristan Sailor said: "It's really exciting! I came here for an opportunity, and I've absolutely loved my time here. I'm glad to be staying on and continuing to play alongside some of the boys I've been with over the past two years.

>"Coming over to such an historic club, you had always heard about St Helens, I certainly did from Jammer [James Graham]. And I saw coming in last year, the boys who carry values like Jonny Lomax, who is one of the toughest players I've played with, and you understand what the club is all about.

>"The biggest thing for me is helping bring trophies back to this club. That's what this club, the fanbase and the community expect because St Helens has always been a successful club.

>"We have gone through some adversity over the past couple of years with inconsistent performances and changes within the squad, but now it's about adapting and evolving with the game and the players we have.
