Seahawks scored sixth-most points off of takeaways in NFL in 2025

The Seattle Seahawks got their hands on many takeaways last season, and turned those into many scoring opportunities.

>According to NFL.com’s Anthony Holzman-Escareno, the Seahawks scored the sixth-most points off of takeaways last season with 85.

>The Seahawks ranked behind the Jacksonville Jaguars (110), Chicago Bears (104), Pittsburgh Steelers (101), Houston Texans (90) and Los Angeles Rams (86). Seattle scored more points off of takeaways than the Minnesota Vikings (81), Buffalo Bills (79), Indianapolis Colts (78) and Cincinnati Bengals (76), who rounded out the top 10.

>Seattle had a great secondary last season. Devon Witherspoon was a second-team All-Pro honoree at cornerback, safety Nick Emmanwori was one of the best defensive rookies in the league, and, along with the rest of the defense, highlighted by Ernest Jones IV and Josh Jobe, helped the team convert their takeaways into points on the board.

>The Seahawks’ defense was a catalyst in their run to the Super Bowl last season and the unit’s ability to help the team generate points helped them hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season.
