BaseballAmerican LegionShrewsbury 8, North County 1; Shrewsbury 9, North County 3: Brendan Parisi (4 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 3 Ks) and Connor Mudd (3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 4 Ks) combined on a one-hitter as host Post 397 (9-2) won the first game of a sweep over Post 193 (7-6-1).

>Cam Kelly had two hits and drove in a run, Mudd doubled in a run and Drew O'Connell knocked in a pair to lead Shrewsbury in the opener.

>Anthony Girgenti doubled and Brodhi Byars drove him in for Main South.

>Owen Mongeon and Tommy Kursonis (double, triple) each had two hits and drove in two runs and Jake Brodeur (4 IP, 4 Ks) and Mongeon (2 IP, 1 K) combined for six scoreless innings to pace Post 397 in the nightcap.

>J.J. Walker doubled and drove in two and Nate Snoonian had two hits for Post 193 in the second game.

>Northbridge 8, Hudson 7; Northbridge 15, Hudson 5: Dylan Diosomito was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs, while Jackson Manosh (RBI) and Cody Veneziano (RBI) also had two hits and Alex Vosburgh drove in two runs as host Post 343 (6-5) won the first game of a doubleheader sweep against Post 100 (6-8).

>Ben Lamson was 3 for 4 with a double and RBI and Jackson Healy singled twice and drove in a run for Hudson.

>Diosomito continued his hot start in the nightcap, going 2 for 3 with two RBIs and three runs, while Jack Marino was 5 for 5 with a two-run homer and five RBIs as Post 343 scored eight runs in the third to cruise to a sweep.

>J.P. Bolduc (2 RBIs) and Vosburgh (2 doubles, RBI) each had two hits and Avery Sanbourin singled and drove in three for Northbridge.

>Garrett Mahoney singled, doubled and drove in two to pace Post 100 in the second game

>Leominster 10, Main South 0: Austin Gibbons struck out eight and allowed one hit as host Post 151 (11-2) blanked Post 341 (2-10-1) in five innings.

>Brendan Mariani was 2 for 2 with three RBIs, Connor Moriarty doubled and drove in two and Cam Cirone doubled and plated three for Leominster. Danny Frade and Alex Coco each added two hits for Post 151.

>Chase Eggen singled in the fourth for Main South.

>Milford 13, Framingham 2: Joey McGee was 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs and Sam Schoenberg singled, doubled and drove in three as visiting Post 59 (12-2) scored six in the first to cruise past Post 117 (8-4) in five innings.

>Sean Burchard singled, doubled and drove in a run and Nolan Murray singled twice and drove in a run as Milford recorded 14 hits.

>Jackson Donato singled, doubled and scored for Framingham.
