Szoboszlai signs new long-term Liverpool deal

>Dominik Szoboszlai has signed a new long-term deal at Liverpool.

>Sky Sports News understands the 25-year-old has signed a five-year deal which runs until the summer of 2031. He had two years remaining on his previous contract.

>Discussions between Richard Hughes and Szoboszlai's representatives accelerated in recent weeks.

>Szoboszlai's willingness to commit his long-term future to Liverpool was apparent throughout discussions with both the player and his representatives.

>"It's maybe my biggest day," Szoboszlai told Liverpoolfc.com. "There are a couple in front of it - probably when I signed for Liverpool, the first one, and when I got my baby, of course. But in my football career, I can say this is in the top three.

>"Very happy. [I] can't wait to go again and again and again. I'm just happy to be here, as I said many times.

>"There's always more to come... I'm happy with myself but I think I can do even better. I think that's why I'm sitting here, because that pushed me since I was a kid: that it was never enough, and I'm thinking the same now.
