Texas Southern vs. Southern: How to watch, date, time, TV channel

Texas Southern looks to rebound from consecutive tough losses in SWAC play when it faces Southern at Reliant Stadium. (Andrew Richardson) It's a home game, but at a much larger venue for Texas Southern this week.

>The Tigers (1-5, 0-3 SWAC) host Southern (3-4, 1-2) on Saturday afternoon at Reliant Stadium looking to end a five-game losing streak.

>TSU's past two conference losses have been gut punches. Last week, the Tigers gave up 24 fourth-quarter points and were unable to hold a 10-point lead with roughly five minutes left in a loss to Mississippi Valley State. Two weeks earlier, TSU overcame a 22-point deficit in the second half only to lose in overtime at Alcorn State.

>Southern, coached by Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk, was off last week after winning at Prairie View A&M. The Jaguars lead the all-time series 14-4, but TSU has won two of the past three meetings.
