Day 2 of the 2026 NFL draft is in the rearview, and Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi continued to be aggressive in rebuilding the roster, this time trading up into the second round to select Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr.

>Still developing, Hill is an athletic, explosive linebacker who has been described as a heat-seeking missile and should compete early in his rookie season in the new-look Titans defense. He was clearly a player Borgonzi and Saleh coveted, trading up nine spots with the Chicago Bears to secure him in the second round.

>At the end of the evening, Borgonzi met with the media to discuss his latest addition.

— Jim Wyatt (@jwyattsports) April 25, 2026"We're excited to get Anthony Hill. It was a guy that we've done all our work on. Brought him in here on a top 30 visit, spent a lot of time with him," Borgonzi said. "He is the prototype linebacker in this defense: long, fast, violent — that we always talk about. You know, tremendous kid, great football character. We made some calls to try to go up, and you know, we felt that with some of the teams maybe ahead of us, it could be a chance that he goes. So, you know, we made the move to get the guy that we wanted."

>Another high character addition with tremendous football acumen, Hill should come in and compete early, but as Borgonzi pointed out, none of the Titans' draft class, including Hill, will have to earn their playing time under Robert Saleh, and the Titans should be better for it.

>The draft will resume at Noon EST, and Tennessee enters Day 3 with five picks and still has some holes to fill. Keep checking back to see what Borgonzi has up his sleeve on what could be another active day rebuilding the Titans.
