Five-star Iowa basketball target Cayden Daughtry impressed during USA Basketball's run to an eighth straight FIBA U17 World Cup gold medal.
>Daughtry scored 15 points on 5 of 9 shooting, including 3 of 6 from 3-point range in the 107-81 gold medal-clinching win over Serbia in Istanbul on Sunday night. The 6-foot, 155-pound point guard also added three assists and a pair of steals in the victory.
>It's no surprise to see Daughtry impressing on the global stage. The Calvary Christian Academy product from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is regarded as a five-star prospect in the 2027 class.
