Why it Matters: Allgeier's status on Thursday will be a better indicator of whether he is dealing with a serious injury or simply just managing soreness. Even if he does play in Week 8, Allgeier could find himself with a limited role. He was already splitting work with Bam Knight, and now Jeremiyah Love (ankle) may be on the verge of returning.
