Tyler Bilodeau gets into a Summer League scuffle versus the Rockets

Tyler Bilodeau was a resiliant UCLA Bruin during his two years in Westwood. Bilodeau is keeping the same reputation in the Summer League with the Brooklyn Nets after Bilodeau had a frisky outing on Thursday against the Houston Rockets.

>The Nets did fall to the Rockets 100-83 but it wasn’t from a lack of fighting from Bilodeau and Brooklyn. Bilodeau played a big role, getting 24 minutes and scoring 10 points on 3-10 shooting with three rebounds, two blocks and a steal.

Bilodeau’s Summer League teammates surely appreciated the fire, with the Nets dropping to 2-2 in the Summer League.

Bilodeau put up 17.6 points and 5.6 rebounds while shooting a very impressive 46.4% from three.

>If Bilodeau will stick in the NBA, it’ll take his fiery spirit and elite perimeter shooting for a post player. Bilodeau isn’t going to have a height advantage in the NBA after standing at 6’7” at the NBA Draft Combine, but the skilled big man’s competitive spirit is not in question.
