Vikings legend excited to see what Kyler Murray can bring to the team

The quarterback play of the Minnesota Vikings has been a rollercoaster in terms of who is under center in recent years. Despite that, the play of their passers has been decent up until last season, when an often-injured and inconsistent J.J. McCarthy made the offense come to a screeching halt.

>That is why when the team added Kyler Murray to compete with McCarthy, it gave Vikings fans some excitement. But it turns out it wasn't just fans that are excited, but former players as well. Speaking recently on the NFL Network, Cris Carter spoke about what the addition of Murray is going to mean to the Vikings.

>Carter stated, "He will bring an ingredient to the Vikings offense that we haven't had in years." Of course, that is high praise coming from the Hall of Fame wide receiver, considering the play they have historically gotten out of their quarterbacks.

Carter has a right to be excited based on what we have seen Kevin O'Connell do in the past with projects.
