> Wakefield vs Huddersfield

Super League 3:00pm Sunday 28th June

>Josh Rourke scored a dramatic last-gasp try to help Wakefield earn a 29-23 victory over Huddersfield following a back-and-forth Betfred Super League encounter at the DIY Kitchens Stadium.

>Trinity opened the scoring in the ninth minute when Jake Trueman passed to Tom Johnstone, who crossed over in the corner, and captain Mike McMeeken made it 10-0 four minutes later.

>Huddersfield got themselves back in the contest within 10 minutes after Jacob Gagai proved too strong for a tackle on the left flank and raced away to cut the deficit to four points.

>The Giants put themselves in front immediately after when Cole Geyer slipped under a tackle and dotted down behind the sticks to put them 12-10 in front.

>Wakefield restored their lead just three minutes before the break after a period of sustained pressure from the hosts, while Huddersfield's defence finally caved following a penalty and a six-again which allowed Jack Sinfield to go over.

>However, Huddersfield started strongly after the interval and got their noses in front again when Asher O'Donnell charged over following Oliver Russell's smart 40-20, but Max Jowitt's penalty made it 18-18.

>It was Wakefield's turn to take the lead again three minutes before the hour mark, this time Rourke showed great strength to bundle over in the corner but it was soon a level game when Huddersfield's Adam Swift crossed the whitewash.

>Sinfield pinned a drop goal in the 71st minute but Russell replied with one of his own for the Giants with a minute to go which looked like it would send the game to golden point before Rourke intercepted and ran away to snatch the points for Trinity.

>Sky Sports will show every game of the Super League live this season, including two matches each round exclusively live. The remaining five matches will be broadcast on Sky Sports+
