Weekly poll question asks readers to pick who will win the 2026 British Open

This week's Watertown Public Opinion-Aberdeen News poll question is asking which golfer is going to win the 2026 Open Championship (British Open) scheduled for July 16-19 at the Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England.

>Since the voting deadline is typically midnight on Sunday, it wouldn't be fair to wait a week for the vote since the tourney would technical be over before the poll closed.

>So we're doing it this week. Voting will stay open until midnight on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
