Westlake uses dominant rushing attack, stout defense to rout Midland Lee

>Playing their last nondistrict game, the Chaps (3-1) ran for 252 yards, allowed only 194 yards and led 42-0 at halftime.

>Three other Westlake players reached the end zone during the rout: Nash Chapman, Braden Riddell and Chase Brodhead.

>CJ Jones crossed the goal line on a 9-yard run to cap off the Chaps' game-opening drive.

>Patton Jones had a 1-yard TD run a short time later, then threw a 16-yard scoring strike to Chapman as Westlake led 21-0 with less than seven minutes off the clock.

>In the second quarter, Riddell (7 yards) and Brodhead (31 yards) ran for touchdowns and Fredenburg hit CJ Jones for an 18-yard TD pass.
