Much drama ensued at Food City 500 in Bristol last weekend, with a ninth caution that sent the race into overtime. Ultimately, Ty Gibbs held on to beat Ryan Blaney by 0.055 seconds, claiming his first NASCAR Cup Series win.
At Kansas Speedway, drivers will return to intermediate oval racing for the first time since Las Vegas in March, which means teams that had success in Sin City can be expected to excel on this track. Fans should look out for Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell and Bubba Wallace, who historically race well in Kansas City.
