Where Mississippi State baseball stands in latest NCAA Tournament bracket projections

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State baseball is on the bubble for hosting an NCAA Tournament regional at Dudy Noble Field.

>The No. 11 Bulldogs (31-10, 10-8 SEC) are on a five-game winning streak after defeating Memphis, 6-2, on April 21. But that came after back-to-back weekends of getting swept at Dudy Noble Field by Georgia and Tennessee.

>MSU hosts LSU (24-18, 6-12) for a three-game series starting April 24 (6 p.m., SEC Network+) for Super Bulldog Weekend.

Mississippi State baseball NCAA Tournament history under Brian O'ConnorBrian O'Connor is a first-year coach at Mississippi State, so it hasn't played in the NCAA Tournament with him. MSU won the 2021 national championship under coach Chris Lemonis, but he was fired during the 2025 season.
