NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 18: Class of 2026 recruit Deron Rippey Jr. dunks the ball during the SLAM Summer Classic at Rucker Park on August 18, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Ishika Samant/Getty Images) | Getty Images It used to be a lot easier to put together a list of high school recruits, but between the portal, international recruits, and reclassified players, it’s gotten to be a much more complex situation. Really, it’s gone from recruiting season to roster-building season. Some schools hardly bother to recruit high school players anymore.

class="has-text-align-none">So far, though, this list seems to be basically up-to-date. We’re going to link it with the Portal Tracker page so you can get a better idea of where everyone’s roster currently stands. Just a few preliminary notes:

class="has-text-align-none">Stanford brings in Aziz Olajuwon. He’s not nearly as big as his dad, Hakeem, but it’ll be fun to see how he does…at least two other sons of former NBA players as Brandon Bass, Jr. joins FSU and Obinna Ekezie, Jr. will suit up for Louisville…that’s not counting Duke’s Joaquim Boumjte Boumtje (son of Rubin) and Bryson Howard (son of Josh)…look up Florida State’s Elisee Assui…the football team is going to be after him. For a wing, that guy appears to be absolutely massive…to the best of our knowledge, Notre Dame’s Gan-Erdene Solongo is the first Mongolian, let alone Mongolian-Irish player, to play in the ACC…international players aren’t limited to Europe or Africa as Solongo demonstrates, and Louisville adds Chinese-born Boyuan Zhang…Wake Forest brings in the latest set of twins…
