Denver Nuggets broadcasts on Altitude TV will look a lot different next year.

>Longtime Nuggets broadcasters Chris Marlowe (play-by-play) and Scott Hastings (analyst) will no longer call games for Altitude, the Denver Post first reported on June 10.

>Marlowe posted a farewell message on X saying "all good things must come to an end" and that "Altitude Sports is moving in a different direction" for the broadcasts.

>Marlowe has been calling Nuggets games since Altitude launched in 2004. Team owner Stan Kroenke launched the regional sports network.

>Marlowe was named Colorado Sportscaster of the Year in 2023. Hastings is a longtime staple of Denver sports broadcasts, working Nuggets and Broncos games at different stations since the 1990s.

>The Denver Post also reports that Chris Dempsey was also let go. Dempsey has been a Nuggets reporter and studio analyst for Altitude and previously covered the team for the Denver Post.

>“For more than a decade, Chris Marlowe, Scott Hastings and Chris Dempsey have been synonymous with Nuggets basketball, bringing energy, insight and a genuine love of the game to every broadcast,” president of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment media ventures Steve Smith said in a statement to the Denver Post.

>“They have been part of many of the most memorable moments in franchise history, including the 2023 championship run, and have helped shape how generations of fans experience Nuggets basketball. Each has been an outstanding ambassador for our organization, leaving a lasting impact on our company, our fans, and the broader Nuggets community.”
