West Ham could have new owners soon after David Sullivan stepped down, and Staveley has revealed she is open to investing in the Hammers. The PCP Capital Partners director was at London Stadium last night alongside her husband, Mehrdad Ghodoussi. They were sat in the directors’ box to watch the iconic 90s band – Take That – Circus Tour as guests of the venue, a separate entity from West Ham.

>The Hammers are the current tenants of the multi-purpose stadium, and it is unknown if Staveley was in attendance for the first time.

>“Maybe, you don’t know,” she replied Spear’s Magazine earlier this month when asked if she was looking into investing in West Ham.

>“We have looked at a lot of clubs, including Tottenham, but we are looking at clubs around the Premier League and the UK, Europe.

>“We really want to be buying, going in and investing into a club again very soon. Both my husband and I were attracted to building a business where we can take a brand that isn’t doing so well, a club that isn’t performing well, get it on the right road, and bring that forward.

>“There are very few clubs (where that can) work. If you want to tick every box, there’s actually very few clubs that allow that.”
