Could some former Arizona State athletes receive an extra year of eligibility?

>Judge Charlotte Sweeney of the U.S. District Court of Colorado granted a class-wide preliminary injunction that requires the NCAA to declare eligible high school athletes who entered collegiate competition during the 2022-23 year and exhausted their eligibility in the 2025-26 competition year.

>This would bring those in the high school class of 2022 into the current era of 5-for-5, which allows an athlete to play for five years following the completion of high school.

>It is unclear if football players who signed contracts as undrafted free agents will be permitted to return to college.
