The NFL has dropped the hammer on the line judge who was caught on video seemingly cursing at Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during the team’s game on Sunday against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

>On Monday, it was announced that the league suspended line judge Jeff Seeman for two games for his actions.

>The video showed McBride complaining to Seeman, who then appeared to curse at the star tight end. Unfortunately for Seeman, cameras are everywhere these days, and the video immediately went viral, ultimately resulting in his suspension.

>“It’s a tough one for me. You hate to see it for obvious reasons. I don’t need to go further than that, but I do want to give the man a little bit of grace too,” LaFleur said Monday, via  Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.

>“I know Jeff. He’s a good man. It’s unfortunate it happened. It can’t happen obviously and I’ll leave it at that.”

>The Cardinals ended up losing the Giants game, 36-24. McBride didn’t have a productive afternoon in that contest, finishing with only 31 receiving yards with zero touchdowns on seven receptions and 12 targets.  New York’s defense did its assignment, holding Arizona quarterback Jacoby Brissett to only 166 passing yards, while intercepting him three times.

>LaFleur and the Cardinals don’t have to dwell much on the incident with Seeman, as they have more important matters to attend to. On a three-game losing skid, the Cards will attempt to snap their losing streak on Sunday versus the Detroit Lions at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
