POTOMAC PARK — The Cresaptown Eagles scored two runs in the fifth to hold off a Hampshire rally and win 9-7 on Monday at Hamilton Field in Mountain League Baseball Junior Division action.

>Hampshire (1-1) scored six runs in the top of the fifth inning to tie the game at 7, with Bentley Mynhier accounting for the tying run on a wild pitch.

>Cresaptown (2-0) took the lead for good when Ethan Morozek touched home on a wild pitch a half-inning later, and Walker Smith stranded the tying run on base in the sixth to pick up the save by striking out the side.

>The Eagles' Camdyn Harper had three hits and scored twice, and Camden Emerick doubled and singled.

>Mynhier led Hampshire going 3 for 3 with two RBIs.

>Hampshire battles Bedford at Holler Field on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

>Cresaptown welcomes Frostburg to Memorial Field on Friday at 6 p.m.

>FROSTBURG — Amoroso's plated three runs in the first and Briyer Cadwallader pitched a gem in a win over Frostburg in a Junior Division game Monday.

>Cadwallader nearly went the distance, picking up the win after allowing four runs on eight hits in 6 2/3 frames with seven strikeouts and two walks.

>Gunner Thomas got the last out for the save.

>Amoroso's' Slade Judy went 2 for 4, and Cadwallader scored twice.

>Evan Padovini tripled and Jaxon Emerick went 3 for 3 with a double for Frostburg (1-2). Scott Cowan took the loss despite allowing no earned runs on two hits in four innings.

>Amoroso's (1-2) hosts Outdoor Power in Westernport on Thursday at 6 p.m.

>SALISBURY, Pa. — Oakley Lidner doubled and drove in three runs to power Cumberland Rotary to a victory over Casselman Valley in the Junior Division on Monday.

>Lidner went 2 for 2 and was also the winning pitcher after allowing no earned runs on four hits in three innings. Issac Broadwater got the save.

>Wade Cunningham was 3 for 4 and scored three times, and Harvey Korb doubled.

>Casselman Valley's Landon Mull finished 3 for 4 with a double and three ribbies, Teddy Baer singled twice and Dylan Sellers doubled.

>Sellers took the loss, surrendering five runs (one earned) on six hits with five strikeouts in four innings.

>Rotary (1-2) hosts Casselman Valley (1-1) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Hamilton Field.

>POTOMAC PARK — Outdoor Power capitalized on Bedford's 11 walks and six errors to roll to a five-inning Junior Division rout Monday at Holler Field.

>Caden Hall led Outdoor Power (2-0) going 2 for 3 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored, Jeremiah Hampton singled twice, and Cylas Dudiak scored three times.

>Owen Pearce went the distance giving up an unearned run on two hits in five innings, fanning six and walking two to pick up the win.

>Bedford's Mason Bullington and Rhys Altman doubled. Bullington was the losing arm.

>Outdoor Power hosted the Travel Mug Sluggers on Tuesday and is at Amoroso's on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Westernport.

>GRANTSVILLE — Caden Knippenberg homered and Clay Bailey fanned 10 in Lefty's victory over Northern in an MLB Senior Division contest on Monday at Grantsville Park.

>Knippenberg's home run was of the two-run variety, Max Fradiska was 2 for 3 with a double and two ribbies, and Landan Raley doubled and drove in two.

>Bailey was the winning arm, allowing a run on three hits in four innings.

>Bailey Turner led Northern (0-1) going 2 for 3 with a solo home run and three RBIs, and Caden Frazee was 2 for 3 with a double.

>Frazee was tabbed with the loss on the mound.

>Lefty's (1-0) hosts Westernport at Memorial Field on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

>Northern takes on Mountain Laurel Medical Center at Grantsville Park on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

>POTOMAC PARK — Silas Leith pitched six strong innings, and Flintstone defeated Mountain Laurel Medical Center in a Senior Division game on Monday at Memorial Field.

>Leith allowed a run on seven hits in six innings with eight strikeouts to three walks to get the win.

>Flintstone's Braxtyn Hohn went 2 for 3 with a double, Carson Wilhelm and Eli Klavuhn doubled, and Jarred Zembower drove in two runs.

>Mountain Laurel MC had three batters combine for seven of its eight base hits. Jacob Welch was 3 for 4, and Dane VanSlyke and Zac Guthrie singled twice each.

>JD Nesselrodt took the loss, allowing a run on one hits in three innings with five walks.

>Mountain Laurel Medical Center (0-2) heads to Grantsville Park to face Northern on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
