Defender Daland joins Norwegian side Viking on loan

[Huw Evans Picture Agency]Cardiff City defender Jesper Daland has joined Norwegian side Viking FK on loan until the end of January 2027.

>The centre back, 26, returns to his native country having spent last season on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf, who were relegated to the German third tier.

>Daland has made 23 competitive appearances for the Bluebirds since joining the club from Belgian team Cercle Brugge KSV in 2024.

>His loan at Viking is until 31 January.
