class="wp-block-paragraph">To be honest, there is very little new stuff here that is actually consequential to Notre Dame’s season, but we love a good soundbite, high quality gin, and well produced video — so let’s go.
THE EXPECTATIONIt’s kind of silly to think that there would be any other answer than “we expect to win every game we play” when you’re one of the favorites to win a national championship, but somehow it’s one of those things that puts a burr up people’s asses — and Marcus Freeman spoke with some tact.

The question about Marcus Freeman staying at Notre Dame or going to the NFL at the end of the season was definitely up in the air for a little bit, but he has clearly stated multiple times that he wants to stay at Notre Dame for a long time — including in this interview.
"For us, there was no other option."
