"He's a really good player" – Klopp praises Brown as Bayern close in on €55m transfer

Jürgen Klopp has praised Eintracht Frankfurt's Nathaniel Brown highly amid reports suggesting Bayern Munich are closing in on a deal for the Germany left-back for a fee of around €55 million.

>“It was already enjoyable watching him last season. If Eintracht Frankfurt do sell this player, I would strongly advise them to get properly paid for him. He’s a really good player,” the former Liverpool head coach said on MagentaTV.

>“He’s a great young player with excellent development over the past few years, so it doesn’t surprise me that Bayern have noticed him,” he added.

>While Alphonso Davies spent a large part of the 2025/26 season on the sidelines, Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanišić mostly took turns playing at left-back for Bayern throughout the campaign.

>According to Klopp, Brown would provide a significant boost in that position.

>“Bayern have an issue at left-back. If you don’t have a proper one, you’re in trouble there. It simply limits the way you can play,” he said.
