class="wp-block-paragraph">Paul hasn’t fought or even sparred since having his jaw broken by Anthony Joshua last December, but says he will soon be “cleared officially to spar,” and then will be “getting back to it” — but he’s not aiming as high as Joshua again any time soon.

class="wp-block-paragraph">“I just probably won’t fight Olympic gold medal heavyweights anymore,” Paul said. “I learned my lesson. I’m definitely still fighting. We’re in talks right now with multiple opponents and just figuring out when we’re going to come back.”

class="wp-block-paragraph">Paul also said he’d be willing to fight Brock Lesnar in MMA, remarking, “I wrestled division one in Ohio, it doesn’t get more legit than that,” which it does; like Lesnar having been an NCAA Division I heavyweight champion, for example. That is definitely “more legit” than having wrestled some in high school, even if it was the legitimately competitive Ohio ranks.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Lesnar, for what it’s worth, just turned 49 and hasn’t had a competitive fight since 2016, and that’s his only one since 2011. He hasn’t won a competitive fight since 2010 against Shane Carwin at UFC 116.

class="wp-block-paragraph">An MMA bout with Nate Diaz is also still potentially “on the table,” Jake says. Paul beat Diaz in a boxing ring back in August 2023, which was really the end of the peak “Jake Paul is a boxer” phenomenon days.
