The Ohio State basketball team is just days away from its season opener but may be without its best, and most important, player in John Mobley Jr.
>In Ohio State's final exhibition game against Butler, an 82-73 win, Mobley left late in the second half with an ankle injury. With 2:01 remaining, Mobley limped off the court after rolling his right ankle/foot on a teammates foot.
>On Wednesday, Buckeyes' head coach Jake Diebler provided an update.
>"He hasn't been back on the court yet but we don't anticipate it being too long," he said. "For all the obvious reasons, being cautious and hopefully get him out there sooner rather than later.”

Jake Diebler today on John Mobley's availability for Monday vs BYU:
"He hasn't been back on the court yet but we don't anticipate it being too long. For all the obvious reasons we're being cautious."
"We're not in a position to say we're goint to be missing anybody yet."
