class="wp-block-paragraph">For the second time in the show’s history, a former LSU quarterback will be featured on the hit Netflix Series Quarterback as Washington Commanders Jayden Daniels will be featured on Season 3 dropping on the streaming service next month.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Daniels, the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner for the Bayou Bengals, has had a great start to his young NFL career, helping lead the Commanders to a 12-5 regular season record and a trip to the NFC Championship for the first time in nearly 30 years. Now, he will be on the hit series along with Buccaneers signal caller Baker Mayfield, Bengals veteran Joe Flacco, who got a lot of minutes in the absence of another LSU legend Joe Burrow, and the former #1 overall pick in Tennessee Titans’ Cam Ward.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Burrow was featured in the second season of the show, while former Tigers star wideout Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings was featured in the spinoff series Receiver.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Burrow and Daniels were instrumental in their time in Baton Rouge as Burrow led LSU to the greatest single season in college football history and he had the greatest single season for a quarterback, winning just the 2nd Heisman in the program’s storied history.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Three years later, Daniels arrived on campus after transferring from Arizona State in a splash move for new coach Brian Kelly in his first summer. He led the Tigers to the SEC championship in his first season, including an overtime victory over Alabama that will go down in history for the LSU program. In his final campaign, he had a tremendous offensive display, leading led the FBS in total yards with 4,946 (3,812 passing, 1,134 rushing). The California native accounted for 50 total touchdowns (40 passing, 10 rushing), winning the Heisman Trophy in one of the best dual-threat seasons ever.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Stream season 3 of the series Quarterback beginning on Wednesday, July 14.
