The Los Angeles Lakers need to be in the business of developing young talent, and they have a couple of players on their roster who seem to have potential. Forward Adou Thiero, who just finished his rookie season, is explosive, a strong finisher and has the potential to become a good defender, and Cameron Carr, the No. 24 pick in this month's NBA draft, is very athletic and a potent outside shooter.

>This season, Chris Mañon was on the Lakers' roster via a two-way contract. He barely got onto the court, but the team has reportedly given him a two-way qualifying offer, which will make him a restricted free agent.

The Los Angeles Lakers have tendered a two-way qualifying offer to Chris Manon, a league source told @spotrac.

Manon will now be a restricted free agent this summer.

He's known as more of a defensive-minded player, especially since he averaged a modest 9.9 points in 19.6 minutes a game during his four-year college career.

>While with the Lakers' G League affiliate this season, Mañon registered 11.6 points on 51.1% field-goal shooting, six rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.1 steals and 0.9 blocks a game. He went undrafted a year ago out of Vanderbilt University.
