>After delivering a masterful "Maddux," Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski received an extra day off and will skip the upcoming series against the Cleveland Guardians at American Family Field.

>The NL Central-leading Brewers (43-26) announced the NL leader in earned-run average (1.34) will not start Thursday against Tanner Bibee (2-7). Instead, Shane Drohan (3-2) will take Misiorowski's usual spot in the rotation.

>Off Monday, the Brewers are planning to start Robert Grasser on Tuesday and Brandon Sproat on Wednesday.

>Misiorowski, who has allowed one earned run since April 25, likely will be pushed back to Friday's series opener against the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park.
