MSU football to host 'Meet the Spartans' event in August

Fans will have an opportunity to meet the Michigan State football team about one week prior to opening kickoff this fall.

>Michigan State announced the return of "Meet the Spartans" ahead of the 2026 football season. According to a social media post from the football team's account, the event will be held on August 26.

>The event will run from 4 to 6 p.m. ET, and will include the opportunity for fans to meet with the players ahead of the season. Exact details on this year's event have not yet been released but typically the event includes players signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

>The event is free admission.

>Michigan State football will officially open the season on September 4 against Toledo. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET from Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Mich.
