Nebraska pitcher to train with 2026 USA Baseball College National Team

A Nebraska pitcher has accepted an invitation to participate with Team USA. J'Shawn Unger will work out at the 2026 USA Baseball College National Team Training Camp.

>Unger finished the season with a 6-1 record with 13 saves and a 4.05 ERA in 40 innings for the Cornhuskers. In 25 appearances he had 39 strikeouts and a .203 batting average.

>The Collegiate National Team, which will be named on July 5 following training camp. The team will then compete in the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship at Taichung City Intercontinental Baseball Stadium in Taichung City, Taiwan, from July 11-15.
