Official: Eintracht Frankfurt reappoint Adi Hütter as head coachAdi Hütter will take over as head coach of Eintracht Frankfurt on 1 July, 2026, the Hessen club officially announced this morning.

>For Hütter, has signed a contract until 30 June, 2029, it's a return to familiar territory having already coached Frankfurt from 2018 to 2021.

>In his first season on the Main River, Eintracht won all six group stage matches of the UEFA Europa League and reached the semi-finals.

>The following year in 2019 they repeated the trick in the DFB-Pokal and qualified for the UEFA Europa League again in the 2020-21 campaign.

>After that, the 56-year-old coached Borussia Mönchengladbach for one season before moving to Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.

>“Adi Hütter stands for courageous attacking football, clarity, and discipline," explained Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche.

>"At his previous clubs, he has demonstrated his ability to combine high-tempo counter-attacking football with possession-based play.

>"Most recently at Monaco, he skillfully developed and stabilized one of the youngest teams in the league, enabling them to establish themselves among the top teams in Ligue 1.

>"It is also an advantage that Adi is familiar with the structures, the environment, and the people within and around the club, meaning no special settling-in period is necessary.

>"We had a very trusting exchange in which Adi, in addition to his proven expertise, conveyed the impression that he is eager and passionate to achieve something new with Eintracht.”
