Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a member of the Madden 27 "99 Club"

The Seattle Seahawks have the best wide receiver in the NFL in Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and now he has one of the most coveted accolades to his resume. No, I'm not talking about anything trivial like an Offensive Player of the Year award or a Super Bowl ring... pssh... anyone can get one of those! No, I'm talking about the all-important rating of 99 overall in the latest edition of the Madden video game franchise!

>Of course, I'm talking in jest, here. However, being a member of the exclusive "99 Club" is nothing to shake a stick at. Especially when it comes to growing your brand and recognition with the younger, video game-playing fans out there around the country. On Monday morning, the players who were 99 overall in Madden 27 were announced, and the Seahawks star was among them.

JSN hauled in a Seahawks franchise record 119 receptions for a league-leading 1,793 receiving yards. At one point he was on pace to shatter Calvin Johnson's record of 1,964 set in 2012. While he didn't quite reach that lofty mark, it was still more than enough to qualify JSN for the "99 Club."
