Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum is out for the foreseeable future.

>The four-time WNBA All-Star has a lower leg injury, the team announced Wednesday. Plum, who is in her second season with the Sparks, is expected to be reevaluated in four weeks.

>During a recent 98-97 win over New York, Plum played 36 minutes, finishing with 12 points, seven assists, and three rebounds. The 31-year-old had her left leg wrapped multiple times during the matchup.

>Plum is averaging 23.9 points, 6.4 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per matchup this season. Her nearly 24 points per contest are second in the league behind only A'ja Wilson.

>This season, the Sparks guard has battled several injuries. She missed four games earlier this year with an ankle injury. Plum is also the second Sparks player to be out for an extended period in recent days.

>Her teammate, center Cameron Brink, is also sidelined because of an ankle sprain.

>"It's a good ankle sprain," Sparks coach Lynne Roberts said June 17. "I don't anticipate her being back (soon)."
