Texans work out massive offensive tackle prospect ahead of training camp

The Houston Texans might not be done adding in talent ahead of Tuesday's opening practice for training camp.

>According to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, the Texans have worked out former Eastern Michigan tackle Dodji Dohoue over the weekend. No deal has been signed, but Houston could look to bring him in for depth purposes on the offensive line.

>A 2025 undrafted free agent, Dahoue, a French native who only played five years of organized football between high school and college, started in five games during the 2025 season before going down with a season-ending injury. The Texans could see his upside as an offensive tackle and potential to blossom while learning behind veterans like Trent Brown and Braden Smith.

Last April, the Texans used a second-round pick on German-born tight end Marlin Klein from Michigan, a who the upside to become a well-rounded tight end with little playing expirenece.
