WR Romeo Doubs shares unique way he memorizes Patriots' offense

New England Patriots wide receiver Romeo Doubs has come up with his own way to memorize the team’s offense this summer.

>According to Sports Illustrated’s Mike Kadlick, Doubs stated before the media on Monday that he uses flash cards to memorize plays.

>“I do flash cards,” Doubs said. “Sometimes I’ll just take a photo of the concept and then just draw it up on my own. I just try to use my memory as much as I can so I don’t play slow and can play fast.”

>Doubs signed with the Patriots in free agency during the offseason. He had a career-year in 2025 as a member of the Green Bay Packers, having recorded 724 receiving yards and six touchdowns on the season. Doubs helped the Packers reach the playoffs last season.

>The 26-year-old Doubs is the Patriots’ No. 2 option at wide receiver for next season. He will be expected to produce up to standard in that role behind three-time All-Pro wideout A.J. Brown.
