UFC flyweight Allan Nascimento has died.
>Nascimento, 34, died Monday after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep, the UFC announced in a social media post. Nascimento was found unresponsive and declared dead at the scene by first responders.
>"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan's family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time," the UFC said in a statement.

This morning, Monday, August 3rd, our beloved flyweight fighter, Allan Nascimento, was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep. Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

>Nascimento compiled a 22-7 record over the span of his nearly 15-year professional career. He fought six times in the UFC, going 4-2.
>After a loss in his promotional debut to Tagir Ulanbekov, Nascimento racked up victories against Jake Hadley, Carlos Hernandez, Jafel Filho, and Cody Durden. He most recently competed in June, losing a close split decision to Mitch Raposo.
