It's a payback series for the Milwaukee Brewers.

>After trading for pitchers Dustin May, Jojo Romero and Antonio Senzatela near the deadline Aug. 3, the Brewers begin a four-game set at American Family Field against the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight.

>The Brewers will look to avenge a three-game sweep that took place in Pittsburgh in the final series before the All-Star break. The Brewers have lost five of six games played with the Pirates this season and been outscored by a total of 18 runs. The Pirates did not face Jacob Misiorowski last month and they will miss the Brewers' ace again in this series.

>Fans will be pleased that Tuesday night marks the return of games being televised on local over-the-air television. The Aug. 4 game will be carried on many local stations across Wisconsin including WITI FOX-6 in the Milwaukee area.

>The 2025 Cy Young award winner, Paul Skeenes, will pitch for the Pirates in a game nationally televised by ESPN Aug. 5. Skeenes is 2-0 against the Brewers this year, but he's struggled much of the season. He has a 9.64 ERA in his last two starts.
